no matter how bad it gets, there will always come a time where things will turn around and you will be okay. it sounds cliche especially when you're in a situation where it seems like things will never get better, but honestly you just have to trust that eventually you will be okay.

Sky, you'll never know this, but I just want you to know that I love you. You were what kept me going in some of my darkest hours, and you stuck with me when everyone else turned their backs on me. I wish I'd only had the guts to tell you how I felt before you left. I just never felt that I could, because I was worried about ruining our friendship, and we're both girls.

People are insecure. The only reason they could have to be mean to somebody would be to prop themselves up and make them feel better about their own situation.

Accept that there are mean people in the world. Unfortunately, not everyone you meet or interact with is going to like you or be nice to you. But that doesn't mean you shouldn't put yourself out there! In fact, being aware of the fact that there are mean, careless, or bitter people out in the world will make you appreciate all of the good people in your life even more. If someone is just outright rude to you for no reason, then you need to learn to accept that this is a result of that person's insecurities and personal issues, and not because of something you did.

Remind yourself that it takes all kinds of people to make the world. Not everyone is going to be your best friend, but that also doesn't mean everyone wants to be your worst enemy.

I'm living my life for you day in day out, you're the ray of sunlight on my dark life, you're what keeps me wanting to stand on my two feet again when I fall and you're the only one who can make all the bitterness of life and people fade away in my eyes.
